Sisyphus...............$16.99
Sisyphus is a blended red wine that contains only those varieties that are authorized for use in the red wines of the Bordeaux region of France. A typical Bordeaux Blend will have either Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot as the primary grape but the other grapes will make up from 15% to 50% of the blend. Our Red Table Wine is composed of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc.
2006 Merlot...............$16.99
This is a red wine grape that is used as both a blending grape and for varietal wines. Merlot-based wines usually have medium body with hints of berry, plum, and currant. Its softness and "fleshiness", combined with its earlier ripening, makes Merlot an ideal grape to blend with the sterner, later-ripening Cabernet Sauvignon. This flexibility has helped to make it one of the most popular red wine varietals in the United States and Chile.
2006 Cabernet Sauvignon..............$18.99
This is a variety of red grape mainly used for wine production, and is, along with Chardonnay, one of the most widely-planted of the world's grape varieties. The principal grape in many Bordeaux wines, Cabernet Sauvignon is grown in most of the world's wine regions, although it requires a long growing season to ripen properly and gives low yields. The particularly thick skin of the Cabernet Sauvignon grape results in wines that can be high in tannin which provides both structure and ageability. As a group, Cabernet Sauvignon wines are generally full-flavored, with a smooth and lingering finish.
2007 Cabernet Franc...............$32.99
Lighter and fruitier than its Cabernet Sauvignon relative, Francs often have cherry, blackberry, and vanilla aromas. The tannin is soft and gentle, and the finish is smooth. A Challenging 2007 season produced a spectacular Cab Franc!!!!! It is a MUST TRY!
2007 Cabernet Sauvignon..............$32.99
The challenging 2007 growing season produced superior Cabernet Sauvignon grapes which in turn delivered a full-bodied wine that is rich, complex and intensely flavorful.
